A Versatile 3D Cell Culture Platform
AIM Biotech offers an easy-to-use, modular platform for incorporating 3D cell culture into your research. AIM chips are gas permeable and enable you to co-culture different cell types in discrete 3D and 2D compartments, using hydrogels of your choice. Chemical gradients and flows (both interstitial & shear) can be applied to tune the culture microenvironment to your specific needs.
Applications developed to date include cell migration, co-culture, angiogenesis, vasculogenesis, metastatic cancer assays (spheroid dispersion, intravasation & extravasation), with many more under development. AIM chips are ideal for developing your own organotypic models for research, drug development and clinical investigation.
The core technologies in AIM were developed in the labs of Professor Roger D. Kamm at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology (SMART).
